Buy and sell electronics, vehicles, fashion, real estate, and services. You can filter items directly by your state and LGA. To bump your listing to the top of search, use the "Promote to Top" feature powered by Paystack.
3. Verified Job Vacancies
Employers across Nigeria publish full-time, part-time, and remote jobs. Jobseekers can upload or type a cover letter and apply directly in seconds.
4. Real-time 1-on-1 Chat
Chat directly with friends, buyers, and sellers. When browsing a member's profile or a marketplace item, tap "Message" to open a private conversation immediately.
5. Business Pro Subscriptions
Businesses and public figures can subscribe to NaijaPlanet Business Pro (₦10,000 / 30 days) to receive an official Green Verification Checkmark, priority chat badge, and detailed store analytics.

Safe Trading Tips for Buyers:
- Meet in Public Places: Always meet sellers in well-lit, populated public spots (shopping malls, fuel stations, banks, or fast food outlets).
- Inspect Before Payment: Thoroughly test phones, laptops, electronics, or vehicles before transferring funds.
- Beware of Unrealistic Prices: If an iPhone 15 Pro Max is listed for ₦100,000, it is almost certainly a scam.
Safe Guidelines for Job Seekers:
- Legitimate Employers Never Charge Fees: Never pay any employer for "interview registration," "medical uniforms," or "aptitude test forms."
- Report any suspicious recruiter immediately using the Report flag button.

NaijaPlanet is built on mutual respect, cultural diversity, and safety. The following behaviors will lead to immediate account suspension:
- Zero Tolerance for Fraud: Any attempt at financial fraud, phishing, romance scams, or advance fee fraud (419) will be banned and reported to relevant authorities.
- No Hate Speech or Tribalism: Content attacking any Nigerian ethnic group, religion, gender, or nationality is strictly prohibited.
- No Explicit Adult Content: Pornography and non-consensual imagery are prohibited.
- No Spamming: Repeatedly posting identical promotional messages across feeds or private chats will trigger an automatic account timeout.

You retain ownership of the photos, videos, and text you post. However, you grant NaijaPlanet a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your content across our platform.
3. Commercial Transactions Disclaimer
NaijaPlanet acts as a communication medium and marketplace directory. NaijaPlanet is not a party to private transactions made between individual buyers and sellers, and shall not be held liable for disputes, losses, or damaged goods arising from offline agreements.

We respect your privacy and protect your personal information in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and NDPR.

- Account Data: Your name, username, email address, chosen Nigerian state, and bio.
- Usage Data: Pages visited, posts liked, and marketplace items viewed (to personalize your Nigerian feed).
- Payment Information: Processed entirely by Paystack (PCI-DSS certified). We never store raw credit/debit card numbers on our servers.
2. How We Protect Your Data
All database communications are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3). We do not sell your personal contact details to third-party telemarketers.
